Nutricia is aware that some tube fed patients are using blended foods as part of their diet. At the present time neither the Nutricia Flocare enteral feeding pump nor associated ancillary items have been manufactured for this purpose, and have not been tested with blended food. We, therefore, cannot guarantee patient safety if the devices are used for this purpose.
