PKU GMPro Ultra is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. PKU GMPro Ultra is a flavoured, nutritionally incomplete, low phenylalanine* powdered drink mix containing glycomacropeptide (GMP), with essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and a small amount of carbohydrate and fat. This should be taken into consideration as part of the patient’s overall dietary intake. Protein substitutes based on GMP are a natural source of phenylalanine.

Must be used under medical supervision. Use with caution in children aged 3-6 years. Only intended for use by individuals with phenylketonuria (PKU). This product should not be used as a sole source of protein but must be given in conjunction with natural protein and other nutrients to supply the phenylalanine, fluid and general nutrition requirements of the patient in medically prescribed quantities.

The quantity of feed and dilution should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. The recommended feed concentration is 33.4g powder (1 sachet) made up with 180ml water to give a final volume of 210ml. A lower concentration may be required according to individual tastes and tolerance. Water or additional fluid should be offered at the same time to ensure adequate fluid intake.The health of the patient depends on carefully following the directions for preparation and use. 1. Wash your hands, clean all utensils. 2. Measure the required amount of cold water into a container. 3. Add the prescribed quantity of powder. 4. Seal and shake well until the powder has dissolved. PKU GMPro Ultra is best served chilled and should be consumed immediately.

Casein glycomacropeptide (GMP) isolate (48.29%) (from cow’s milk), L-leucine, sugar, L-tyrosine, dried glucose syrup, L-arginine, magnesium hydrogen phosphate, L-histidine, flavourings, tricalcium phosphate, vegetable oils (medium chain triglycerides (coconut and/or palm kernel), high oleic sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), L-valine, L-cystine, L-tryptophan, calcium hydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, choline bitartrate, maltodextrin, calcium carbonate, potassium citrate, sodium chloride, anticaking agent (E551), taurine, L-ascorbic acid, L-carnitine, emulsifier (E472c), inositol, ferrous sulphate, sweetener (sucralose), DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate, nicotinamide, zinc oxide, copper gluconate, calcium D-pantothenate, sunflower lecithin, thiamine hydrochloride, manganese sulphate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, retinyl palmitate, sodium selenite, beta-carotene, ascorbyl palmitate, sodium molybdate, potassium iodide, chromium chloride, folic acid, phytomenadione, D-biotin, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamin. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Once opened, use immediately. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
