ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: For the dietary management of short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of patients who are undernourished, patients with proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistulae, disease related malnutrition and dysphagia.
Intended for use by adults. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
Must be used under medical supervision. Suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Additional caution required if used between 3 and 18 years. HCP should determine appropriate daily intake with more frequent monitoring if used between 3 and 18 years.
Check appearance before use and shake well. Do not dilute or add medications to the formula. Administer at room temperature.
Collapsible packs can be attached directly to a Flocare pack giving set. When connected to the giving set (aseptically handled, closed system) this bottle has a hanging time of max.
