L-Cystine is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. A powdered form of the amino acid L-Cystine. For use as a supplement in the dietary management of conditions requiring additional L-Cystine e.g. homocystinuria. Suitable for use from birth.

Must be used under medical supervision. For enteral use only. Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition.

The recommended dosage of L-Cystine is dependant of age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient and should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only. L-Cystine can be mixed with drinks or taken as a paste.

Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, use within one month. Once reconstituted, use within 24 hours.
