Eligible applications for funding include:

• Clinical trials
• Service evaluations
• Surveys or audits exploring nutritional needs and management
• Healthcare use and/or economic evaluation of nutrition intervention

A variety of research project ideas will be considered, including but not limited to:

• Service or economic evaluation looking at sustainability in paediatric tube feeding regimens
• Audit to explore community management of common infant problems such as colic or reflux
• Implementing or evaluating services for cow’s milk allergy management
• Service improvement in the management of faltering growth in children
• Guideline development for breast milk fortification in preterm infants 
• Digital innovation supporting improvements in waiting lists or virtual consultations
