Dr. Abayomi graduated in nutrition and dietetics from Cardiff in 1993 and worked as an NHS dietitian for over 20 years, specialising in women’s health and nutrition for 12 years. In 2010 Julie was awarded a PhD based on research conducted at Liverpool Women’s hospital. Research interests include: overweight and underweight in pregnancy; diabetes and pregnancy; diabetes and breastfeeding and chronic radiation enteritis.
