Available in Blackcurrant flavour (contains colours, sugar and sweeteners) or Unflavoured. A food for special medical purposes.

The quantity of Neocate Active should be determined by a clinician or a dietitian only and is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient. As Neocate Active is a supplement to diet, ensure nutritional adequacy of diet particularly if more than two sachets per day is taken.
The recommended feed concentration is 21% w/v, e.g. 250ml water plus 1 sachet (63g powder) makes up to a final volume of 300ml. Neocate Active may be given more concentrated to provide 1.25 kcal/ml e.g. 190ml water plus 1 sachet (63g powder) makes up to a final volume of 240ml. 1. Wash hands. Use clean equipment to prepare feed. 2. Measure the required amount of cold water into a container and add the prescribed quantity of Neocate Active. 3. Cover and shake the product until the powder has dissolved. 4. Alternatively, this product can be liquidised for up to 10 seconds. 5. Shake or stir the product immediately before use. Neocate Active can be served unflavoured or flavoured using SHS flavours. If given orally, Neocate Active is best served chilled.
